Thanks Eldin. It was a stormy day and I was up at a friend’s house at Penteli mountain. The storm was raging far away over Athens and there was a lot of lightnings at that perticular area. I had no dark filter and tripod to shoot at low speed and capture them (the usual way to do it). So I just starting clicking away at 2-3 frames per second for 20 seconds, with small intervals for the buffer. I missed several more spectacular, but I got this one! So luck was integral.
Perfectly captured!!!
🙂
[…for the last many years!]
Thank you Marina! Although you never know where and when a lightning will strike, in order to capture it. So a bit lucky I guess.
and very fast!!!! 😉
1/1000 😉
Awesome!
How did you capture it?

Wow, the caption and title are very telling. Haunting .
Not the most spectacular of lightnings, but it is OK with the title I guess 😉
