When the levee breaks
Cool Vassilis ~ looks like a lot of snow there ? Where is this?
Salt ? 😉
Yeap, you got that right! We haven’t seen snow on the ground in Athens yet. Just a day we saw snow flakes. This is from a trip at a town called Mesologi. It is famous for many things, one of them being the salt!
I’ve see salt like this in Vancouver. That is the only reason I even had this thought. Looked like snow ;D I Love your photos Vassilis ~ you keep me thinking
Here is a wiki article about the town! Served there for a couple of months, and went back years later to visit and photograph with a dear friend of mine.
Has twice the population of Cranbrook (my home). Sounds very similar to Vancouver ~ Fish, wine, salt, mountains. Must be Lovely there Vassilis 😉
Smaller population, very hot and humid summers (mosquitoes too) but a wonderful place to be during the long autumns and springs. But if you have no means to get by, your eyes can not appreciate the beauty before you.
One day ~ dreaming my way there now. Thank you Vassilis, see you soon ;D
“The third day of the year. Still alright?”
Glad! Here it is still sunny but people are more scared than ever! Holidays were a mixture of cheering up and depression.
I like the first one!
😉 Just playing with the inherited perspective distortion of a wide lens! Thank you, Eldin!
It´s great photo!
Fishing out photos from past trips, that I have never published anywhere and rediscovered again while scanning, is like taking these photos again, now. Still feel a bit uncertain, but your kind words help! Thank you!
Yes, that first one is mesmerizing. Fantastic series.
Thank you Karen! Your input is always so helpful and encouraging!
