where in the world did you come up with this photo??? is it in Greece or London?
It was (probably still is) in London. If I remember correctly on Euston street close to Baker street opposite from Madame Tussauds museum.
hmmm, and I was on Baker street and never walked by it…..I spent nearly a month in London and I remember going to 221 baker street and thinking to myself, “okay…Holmes was entirely fictional so why the hell did I HAVE to come to this address???” lol the silly things we do I guess.
Know what you mean! Went down to Deptford looking to find where Dire straits were formed and on Abbey road to see if I can catch a glimpse of the Beatles or Pink Floyd, 40 years after they have been there… As a matter of fact Lennon came up to my ear and told me “What did you expect, it was just a photo for an album cover, at a typical London street. Nothing more nothing less…”
Dickens’ plaque was actually on Euston street, close to Baker street, so that might explain it.
